Biltmore Park
Neo Burrito Biltmore Park is the latest Neo restaurant, an example of a customer suggestion taken to its extreme. When Zak Yancey, creator of Neo Concepts, transformed a local West Asheville quick-serve burrito restaurant to its current incarnation as the first Neo restaurant, the change was dramatic. The impact was felt by customers Tom and Karen Champagne, who sought Zak out to discuss the noticeable sustainable aspects of the restaurant with the goal of somehow becoming involved. Like destiny, these discussions led to the opening of a new Neo quick-serve location in the community of Biltmore Park in 2011, a collaboration among Zak, Tom, and Karen. This latest Neo location strives to live up to the standards established by Neo Burrito West, and Neo Cantina in Biltmore Village. Like its Neo predecessors, Biltmore Park Neo continues the mission of providing fresh, healthy food while committing to sustainability in every instance. Aspects unique to the Biltmore Park location, such as the Omega Garden, an urban agriculture system in which some of Neo’s vegetation is grown, and the rainwater-flush bathrooms, are examples of Neo’s leadership in practical sustainability. What makes it all work, however, is the way these green aspects are brought together to provide some tasty Mexican-inspired food, Asheville style.
We invite you to encounter Neo in Biltmore Park in person, and to spend some time exploring the many design features that make this location unique. You’ll come for the great food and drink; you’ll linger for the experience.
