Neo Burrito is a locally owned business with a mission of worldwide sustainability.
Our mission in action: come see the rainwater harvester used at our Biltmore Park location!
Neo Burrito is a local, quick service restaurant that specializes in burritos, tacos, quesadillas, and salads. Since 2009, we have served high quality food made with fresh ingredients from farms around the area and Neo Farms. There are three locations in Asheville: one in the Whole Foods Shopping Center, one on the corner of Patton Ave and Haywood Rd, one in Biltmore Park, and one location coming to Greenville, South Carolina!
What sets us apart from your typical burrito place and most restaurants in general is our mission of sustainability. Our goal is to not only provide a quality product, but also reduce the amount of waste in terms of electricity, water, and food. The Biltmore Park location has solar panels that decrease our electricity usage and a rainwater harvesting system that collect water for use in toilets. We also compost food from each store and take it to our farm where it is reused as soil and feed.

On our farm, we have chickens that provide eggs for breakfast menu items. Neo’s vehicles are fueled by vegetable oil taken from our restaurants, transported to the farm, and processed through our filtration system.
All of our utensils, to-go cups, to-go boxes, and salsa cups are sustainable. We use glasses, and all of our to-go ware is either compostable or recyclable. Our desire is to provide an example of sustainability for patrons and businesses to follow in order to maximize impact on the environment. Help us make the world a better place one burrito at a time!
